Wagrain:
The well-known winter sports resort Wagrain is located approx. 65 km south of Salzburg on 850 m (above sea level) in the middle of the skiing region Flachau-Wagrain-St.Johann.
Ski hut Wagrain Ski Amadé:
The comfortable ski hut is quietly and sunnily located on 1750 m (above sea level) directly in the skiing region of Flachau-Wagrain-St.Johann a part of the Sportwelt Amadé. The ski hut can only be reached via the ski lifts and a downhill ski slope afterwards. For the transportation of the luggage we recommend rucksacks and sports bags.
Characteristic:
A beautiful picture-book ski hut in the middle of the skiing region. You cook with gas and wood, the ski hut will be heated with wood and coals, the power generation (only for light) occurs via gas and solar energy. Regional information Skiwelt Amadé:
Immerse into Austria's largest skiing fun! Skiing on powdery slopes, boarding on virgin deep powder snow slopes and afterwards to the après-ski in one of the countless rustic huts. Thus the local mountain railways describe concise the huge offering of the winter sports region. Here everybody find its appropriate location.
The region Ski Amadè combines five different skiing areas: first of all the Salzburger Sportwelt, the largest region, reaching from Radstadt in the east to St.Johann/ Alpendorf im Pongau.
Obertauern, snow-reliable from November until May, is easily accessible via Radstad and is worth a day trip outside the skiing combination.
The region Dachstein-Tauern around the famous winter sports resort Schladming already belongs to Styria. Gasteiner Tal, Großarltal and Hochkönigs Winterreich completes the winter sports offers.

Regional information Salzburger Sportwelt:
The largest subarea of the gigantic Skiwelt Amadè reaches from Radstadt in the East until Alpendorf in the West, the ski station of St.Johann im Pongau. The offering of ski runs in the several inteconnected ski areas Radstadt-Altenmarkt, Zauchensee-Flachauwinkt-Kleinarl, Flachau-Wagrain and Wagrain-St.Johann/Alpendorf is huge, the subareas Filzmoos, Eben and St.Johann-Hahnbaum are more unexcited. Rustic huts, beautiful villages, diversified ski runs and despite the low altitude good snow conditions guarantee for a wonderful winter holiday. Obertauern, snow-realiable from Nobember until May can easily be reached via Radstadt and is worth a day-trip outside the "Skiverbund".
